Xplicit Desi Vibes -The New Desi Movement

Xplicit Desi Vibes is an association that has been established by two hard working and stimulated individuals, Vimal Patel & Prerak Patel, whose goal is to promote and bring forth the best South Asian music that today's generation has to offer to our South Asian community. Their music can be heard around the world by thousands of fans, mixing the latest of Urban tracks along with the hottest South Asian tracks. These young DJs are, without a doubt, tomorrows music elite. They have created an impressive remix of tracks and now are moving foward to promoting and producing music along side with some of the biggest up and coming South Asian artist such as, Ranjini, Raja Wilco, Don Revo, G-Deep, and Young Pharaoh,Reshma, June 25th (UK), Menis(UK), Drilla Kid (UK), Kami K (UK), Swami Baracus (UK). to name a few.

After linking up with Tiru from DesiClub.com, who quickly became their Marketing Director, Xplicit Desi Vibes were able to take their musical talents to another level as they released "i-Desi," in December of 2006. "i-Desi," is an album which fuses together the musical culture from the United States with the musical culture in the U.K. This album is unlike any other South Asian album heard before, and features such artists as Sona Family, Uzazi Productions, AKY, and Rishi Rich to name a few. After the success of "i-Desi," Xplicit Desi Vibes received so much recognition their Marketing Director Tiru (LiL' T), was featured on "The Jump Off," on BBC Asian Radio Show, hosted by Mr. Mak and Mentor Kolektiv. Talk about making some moves! From there on, Xplicit Desi Vibes also made an appearance on NiteLife Radio, the hottest South Asian radio show on the East Coast. Traveling down south to Texas, GenerAsian Radio has featured tracks produced by DJ DesiPlaya (Vimal Patel). And their recognition doesn't end here. When "i-Desi," was released, the hype was also written about in "Desi NJ," one of the top-most circulated South Asian magazine in New Jersey.

It is because of their hard work and determination that Xplicit Desi Vibes has quickly become one of the most well known remixing productions teams in the world and in the music business. And it is also because of this same strive to succeed in the musical scene that they have so passionately held onto that they are already working on releasing three albums by the time March rolls around, and their most anticipated album is yet to come, "The Desi Movement."
